Pricing
You pay for renders, not for traffic spikes.
A frame is billed the first time it is rendered. After that it is cached, and serving it again only draws on your delivery allowance. Most accounts settle at a render rate well under five percent of requests.

The details
What counts as what.
Extractions
One extraction is one render of one spec. Requesting
t12.5s-w640.jpg for the first time is an extraction; requesting it
again is not, no matter how many times. Changing any parameter — a different
timecode, a different width, a different format — makes a new spec, and the first
request for it is a new extraction.
Delivery
Bytes sent to your users, cache hits included. Conditional requests that come
back 304 Not Modified are not counted. If you sit a CDN in front of us,
your delivery figure drops to whatever your CDN misses.
Going over
Nothing is cut off mid-month. Once extractions run out you keep serving
everything already cached, and new specs return
402 quota_exceeded until the period rolls over or you move up a plan.
Delivery overage is billed at €0.04 per GB. There is no overage charge on the Free
plan — it stops instead.
Billing
Monthly, in euros, by card or SEPA transfer. No annual commitment and no setup fee. Change plan at any time; the switch is prorated to the day. Cancel and your assets stay readable until the end of the paid period, then they are deleted.
Storage
Source files are never stored — Framepine reads them from your origin during indexing and keeps only the index. Cached derivatives live for 30 days after their last hit and do not count against any quota.
